A motor spindle is the core component of a milling machine or a CNC-controlled system that drives the tool. It combines the motor, bearings, and tool holder in a compact housing, enabling high speeds and precise machining. Motor spindles are also referred to as milling spindles or high-frequency spindles (HF spindles).

We differentiate between the X22 and X30 series, which vary in size. Within each series, different configurations are possible, allowing each spindle to be individually adapted to the respective application and freely configured.

Our X22 and X30 spindle series are available with following tool change options:

  • MTC (manual): Manual tool change
  • QTC (semi-automatic): Manual tool change; tool holder can be pre-measured to ensure fast and precise repeatability.
  • ATC (automatic): fully automatic tool change for serial processes
  • DTC: fully automatic tool change without a separate tool holder
