Design
The X22 spindle housing forms the basis of every X22 spindle configuration, combining precision, stability and an unmistakable design. Machined from solid aluminium, it provides high rigidity and optimal heat dissipation. The characteristic design bevels make every spindle instantly recognisable and shape SPINOGY's clear, technical design language. From the raw material through precise machining to anodising and laser engraving, the result is a housing that unites quality and design.
Cooling
For the air-cooled X22, you can choose between two fan grilles. The Performance grille is fitted as standard. From a configured speed of 40,000 rpm and/or a power rating of 3.0 kW or more, a stronger fan is automatically used together with the High-Performance grille – but the High-Performance grille can also be selected freely or retrofitted on request.
The Performance fan grille fitted as standard ensures efficient air flow and reliable heat dissipation in the standard speed range. The optimised cooling provides stable operating temperatures and supports high process reliability as well as a long service life for the motor spindle.

The High-Performance fan grille has an enlarged air throughput area and is combined with a more powerful fan. From 40,000 rpm or a motor power of 3.0 kW, this version is provided as standard, but it can be selected freely for any spindle variant. The increased air volume flow significantly reduces the temperature of the bearings and motor, increases the thermal power reserve and, at the same time, ensures quieter and more efficient operation – ideal for high continuous loads and demanding high-speed applications.

Motor
The X22 is equipped with a powerful high-frequency motor in which a precisely matched combination of stator winding and rotor delivers maximum torque. Thanks to a modern choice of motors, the X22 offers exceptional flexibility for a wide variety of applications. This means the spindle can be optimised specifically for the respective process – from high torque in the lower speed range for force-intensive machining such as drilling or thread cutting through to dynamic high-performance applications for precise milling.
